Meet the team season 2016/17

nanny3Nicole Wallbank, started Meribel Nanny Services in 2014 wanting to offer a more personal, reliable childcare service in the Meribel Valley. She has a level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and over 11 years’ experience in Childcare, 10 winters of which have been here in Meribel. During the winter season Nicole manages her nannies and each booking personally. During the summer months she also works as a temp and holiday nanny In the UK and abroad. Her experiences over the past 10 years have helped provide her with the knowledge to know exactly what you and your family need from her Childcare Service ensuring you have peace of mind knowing your children are happy and safe.
beth-picBeth Brophy is 23 years old and has a BSC (hons) in sports development and coaching from Sheffield University along with a level 3 BTEC in sports development, coaching and Fitness and 5 years of experience working with children from 6 months – 17 years. Over the past 5 years Beth has worked in America as a Coach and Camp Director, undergone placements in schools, volunteered to work with children in Brazil and South America and has spent the last 2 years working as a youth councillor on a well-known Cruise Liner, working with children from 6 months and up. Her references described her as “extremely motivated and committed” “Organised and Full of Energy” and “loved by not only the children but the parents as well”
Lucy BirdLucy Bird is 21 years old and has a level 4 Children and young people’s Diploma along with a level 2 in Peer Mentoring and over 3 years of experience with children of all ages from 6 months to 16 years. Lucy has enjoyed working with Children from a young age including, during the summers working as group nanny for a dance school, Volunteering at the Children of the North east charity as Youth Mentor and working at Ashfield Nursery, caring for children from 6 months up. Lucy’s references had nothing but amazing things to say about her, she was described as a confident practitioner, bubbly, Proactive and great at building relationships with both the children and the parents.
Lauren Collins in 25 years old and has an NVQ 2 and 3 in Children’s care, learning and development, along with many other care certificates including Makaton training and positive behaviour management certificates. Lauren first started working with children in 2008 and has cared for children in a nursery setting from 12 weeks up to 11 years, including a position as a room leader for children aged 1- 2 years. Laurens references had absolutely lovely things to say about her and described her as “a calm and caring child carer, full of ideas, who worked well with her team and was able to settle the children quickly”
Sharron RyanShannon Ryan is 25 years old and has an NVQ level 2 in children and young people’s workforce, Shannon has been working in Childcare for the past 6 years in various roles with children of all ages from 6 months – 17 years. Her first position where she gained her NVQ was at Butlins where she worked for 3 years in the Nursery, caring for children from 6 months up. In 2013 Shannon went on her first adventure as a Children’s rep for a well-known family holiday tour operator working Tenerife, Menorca, Crete and lap land with children from 3 – 12 years. Following this Shannon took a position as a youth counsellor on a well-known cruise liner where she completed 3 contracts caring for children from 3 years – 12 years.
Laura BannisterLaura Bannister is 21 years old and has a Degree in childhood, families and education from Wolverhampton University. Laura has gained a wealth of experience with children of all ages from New-borns up to teenagers, including spending 9 weeks at the beginning of this summer in Italy volunteering as an English teacher. While studying she has also worked as a part time nanny and babysitter for children who are now 6 and 3 and over the past 7 months has been working as a mothers’ help caring for twins whom are now 8 months old. Laura has great references from both parents she has nannied for and was described by both of them as bubbly, energetic, confident and great with the children.
Nadine RoyNadine Roy is 22 years old and has a SVQ level 3 in childrens care, learning and development along with 4 and a half years of childcare experience, firstly working as a Summer Au Pair in Inverness for 3 year old twins from May 2012 – September 2012 then 1 and a half years working in a nursery gaining her level 3 certificate caring for children of all ages from 3 months to 5 years. For nearly 3 years Nadine has worked as a sole charge nanny caring for 3 children who were 5 weeks, 2 years and 6 years when she began working with them. Her references described her as “Mary Poppins, with a kind heart and a genuine love for childcare”
